New Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Uzbekistan presents copies of credentials to foreign minister
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov received copies of the credentials of the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Uzbekistan, Rashad Mammadov, Uzbekistan MFA reports.
The parties acknowledged that Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan are connected through centuries-old fraternal bonds, common historical and cultural foundations, and mutual respect. They highlighted that, owing to the trust between their leaders, their strategic partnership and alliance continue to grow stronger and are regularly infused with new initiatives.
Special focus was given to sustaining the strong momentum of political dialogue, as well as to expanding trade, economic, and investment cooperation, and to implementing joint transport and logistics projects.
Bakhtiyor Saidov conveyed confidence that Rashad Mammadov’s rich diplomatic background will help enhance the alliance between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan, leading to new tangible outcomes in their bilateral cooperation.
