KOICA grant
The Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) is implementing a $14 million project titled “Enhancing Youth Employment and Entrepreneurship through Improving the IT Education Ecosystem in Uzbekistan”.
Over four years, young people will be trained in IT fields, including artificial intelligence, prompt engineering, programming, and online marketing. Plans include upgrading the qualifications of 500 IT specialists and instructors, and launching startup incubation programs with the participation of Korean experts.



In addition, during 2026-2032, two modern IT hubs will be established in Nukus and Karshi, and 14 IT centers will be built and equipped across seven districts.
