International cooperation in industry is growing stronger

A meeting was held between Mirziyod Yunusov, Chairman of the Uzeltechsanoat Association, and the leadership of Contemporary Amperex Resources Group.

The parties discussed prospects for implementing a project to produce lithium-ion batteries in Uzbekistan. Issues related to attracting investment and establishing high-tech production facilities in the electrical engineering industry were considered.

This cooperation aims to develop the production of components for energy storage systems and electric vehicles, as well as modern electronic and electrical engineering products. This will make it possible to deepen technological chains, increase the level of localization, and expand the share of high-tech products.

Mr. Yunusov also held talks with the President of GAC International Wayne Wei. Issues of localizing auto part production, implementing joint projects, and expanding industrial cooperation with local enterprises were discussed.
