Green Farm project to drive agricultural development in Jizzakh region
The Green Farm project is planned for implementation in Jizzakh region. It is a comprehensive solution designed to improve the efficiency of agricultural production, ensure the rational use of water resources, strengthen environmental protection, and enhance the quality of life of the population.
The prospects for implementing the project were discussed at a meeting between the Hokim of Jizzakh region Ulugbek Mustafayev and representatives of South Korea’s K Farm Solution and Doohyun E&C.
The parties reviewed the stages of the project’s implementation, its impact on the region’s socio-economic development and promising areas for further cooperation.
The Green Farm project is focused not only on achieving economic results, but also on developing social infrastructure, creating favorable conditions for farmers and improving the quality of life of the local population.
The project provides for the introduction of modern water resource management mechanisms, the installation of highly efficient water purification systems for household and agricultural needs, the local production of water filters and the establishment of a maintenance system for them.
In addition, the project includes the production of innovative materials to improve soil fertility, the creation of a sustainable feed base for livestock farming, the introduction of an IoT-based water quality monitoring system, and training local specialists.
During the meeting, the regional hokim put forward several important initiatives that take into account the natural and climatic conditions and needs of the region. In particular, it was proposed to continue greening hilly areas as part of the nationwide Yashil Makon project, expand the use of drip irrigation technologies in districts experiencing water shortages, introduce modern technologies for treating drinking water and wastewater, reduce water hardness, and organize scientific and practical research on desalinating water from Lake Aydarkul to a level suitable for agricultural use.
The expansion of international cooperation and the introduction of innovative solutions and modern technologies are becoming key factors in the development of agriculture in Jizzakh region. In this context, the Green Farm project represents a strategically important initiative aimed at improving the efficiency of the agricultural sector, ensuring environmental sustainability and enhancing the quality of life of the population.
