Global Crossroads: Pragmatism and Culture at SPIEF 2026
Representatives from more than 130 countries and territories are participating in the Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum, held in Saint Petersburg, Russia, from June 3 to 6. They include heads of government agencies, international organizations, businesses, the expert and scientific communities, and journalists.
Rodney Cook, Chairman of the U.S. Commission of Fine Arts, is the first official representative of the United States in several years to take part in the forum’s events. He will attend the session “Russia – U.S.: Dialogue of Cultures”.
The official website of the President of the Russian Federation has published greetings for the participants, organizers, and guests of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2026, whose motto is “Pragmatic Dialogue: The Path to a Stable Future”.
In his greeting, the head of the Russian state noted that the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum traditionally brings together leading politicians, business leaders, scholars, and public figures to discuss current issues in Russian and global politics and economics. The President of Russia expressed confidence that the Forum’s substantive and results-oriented discussions would help develop effective new solutions across all areas of economic and social life.
