Eternal memory to the heroes!
Commemorative events, timed for the Day of Remembrance and Honor and the 81st anniversary of Victory in the Second World War, are being held in Andijan under the motto “Duty, courage, perseverance!”
War and labor veterans, military personnel, members of the public, and youth, led by the regional Hokim, Shukhrat Abdurakhmonov, laid flowers at the Grieving Mother Monument.
It was emphasized that during the Second World War, thousands of fellow compatriots, including residents of Andijan, showed courage and heroism on the battlefields. The memory of the fallen heroes will forever remain in the hearts of people.
The event included theatrical performances devoted to the Second World War.
