Effective use of water and energy resources during the summer discussed

Bishkek hosted the working meeting of the energy and water resources ministers from Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Kazakhstan.

The parties exchanged views on the current state of cooperation in the water and energy sectors and on prospects for its further development.

The participants discussed the efficient use of water and energy resources during the summer, as well as measures to ensure a stable energy supply.

The parties emphasized that amid population growth, economic development, and rising energy consumption, regional cooperation is becoming crucial to ensuring water and energy security.

Following the meeting, a protocol was signed to supply the countries with water and energy resources in July and August of this year.
