Cooperation between the Central Bank of Uzbekistan and the University of World Economy and Diplomacy strengthens

A Memorandum of Understanding on scientific and academic cooperation has been signed between the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the University of World Economy and Diplomacy.

The document aims to develop the parties’ research activities, strengthen the integration of education and practice, and train personnel for the financial system. It provides for the implementation of research projects, the publication of scientific papers, the sharing of information resources and scientific databases, and the organization of conferences, forums, workshops, and training sessions. Internship opportunities at the bank are expanding for undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students. The topics of doctoral students’ scientific papers will be linked to areas relevant to the bank.

Special training courses in research methods, data science, macroeconomics, and microeconomics will be held at the university for the bank’s employees.

The parties will cooperate to develop the innovation and startup ecosystem and to promote startups through incubation and acceleration programs.
