Chinese cricket team to train in Uzbekistan

Aziz Mikhliyev, Chairman of the Uzbekistan Cricket Federation, met with representatives of the Chinese Cricket Association in Chongqing.

The parties discussed developing cricket in both countries, deepening cooperation, and promoting experience exchange.

Several promising initiatives were proposed to expand practical cooperation between the cricket teams of the two countries.

Specifically, the sides agreed to hold joint training camps for Chinese and Uzbek cricketers and organize friendly matches and other sporting competitions.

At the meeting, participants highlighted new opportunities to strengthen ties between the two countries’ cricket teams, develop athletes’ skills and experience, and promote cricket among young people.
