Asia’s top table tennis players gather in Tashkent
The ITTF-ATTU Asian Table Tennis Championships Tashkent 2026 will begin today at the Olympic Village.
The Uzbekistan national team will play several matches on the first day of the first-ever continental championships.
In particular, the Uzbekistan men’s national team will face Turkmenistan before taking on Saudi Arabia in the opening qualifiers, while the Uzbekistan women’s national team will face Jordan.
The opening ceremony of the Asian Championships, featuring the most skilled table tennis players from 33 countries, will take place tomorrow, October 20.
The Asian Championships, featuring individual, team, and mixed team events, will run until October 25.
