A new chapter begins in Uzbekistan’s equestrian sport
The FEI World Championships took place in Aachen, Germany, hosted by the International Equestrian Federation (FEI).
Held every four years, this competition ranks among the largest international equestrian events. Based on the World Championships results, a meeting took place with top representatives from the global equestrian community.
Bakhromjon Gaziev, Chairman of the Federation of Horse Breeding and Equestrian Sports of Uzbekistan, also attended the meeting. As part of the event, Uzbekistan’s representatives met with FEI President Ingmar De Vos and FEI Secretary General Sabrina Ibáñez. The discussions focused on the current state of international equestrian sport, further promoting the sport in Uzbekistan, and expanding Uzbekistan’s athletes’ participation in international competitions.
The participation of two Uzbekistan’s riders in the World Championships in Aachen for the first time represents a significant milestone in the country’s equestrian history. Additionally, meetings with FEI leadership are crucial for elevating Uzbekistan’s collaboration with the international equestrian community.
