Uzbekistan’s textile production increases by 10.1%, while exports grow by 24.1%

According to the National Statistics Committee, large enterprises in Uzbekistan produced textile products worth 54.4 trillion UZS in January-June 2026.

Production increased by 10.1% compared with the corresponding period of 2025.

During the reporting period, Uzbekistan exported textile products worth $1.6 billion, up 24.1% year-on-year.

The structure of textile exports was as follows:

finished textile products – 53%;

yarn – 31%;

knitted fabrics – 9%;

woven fabrics – 5%;

hosiery – 1%;

carpets – 1%.
