Uzbekistan’s parliamentary delegation arrives in Bishkek

Bishkek hosts the 15th Plenary Session of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic States (TURKPA).

The Uzbekistan delegation will participate in events aimed at fostering interparliamentary cooperation among the Turkic states, along with representatives from the parliaments of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Türkiye.

TURKPA is an international organization that promotes cooperation, strengthens inter-parliamentary dialogue, and facilitates experience exchange among the parliaments of Turkic countries.

Deputy Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh Zhildyz Taalaibek kyzy welcomed Tanzila Narbayeva, Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, at Manas International Airport, who arrived in Kyrgyzstan on a working visit.

A reception was held in Bishkek for the heads and members of delegations from all countries. The event showcased the Kyrgyz people’s rich cultural heritage, national music, and unique art.

During the visit, the parliamentary delegation of Uzbekistan will participate in several high-level meetings, as well as in TURKPA events as an observer.
