Uzbekistan’s freestyle wrestlers achieved success at the U17 World Wrestling Championships

The 2026 U17 World Wrestling Championships are ongoing in Baku.

According to the freestyle wrestling championships’ results, the Uzbekistan national team won 2 silver and 2 bronze medals.

In particular, Behruz Ashirov (up to 110 kg) and Farrukh Mahmudov (up to 48 kg) won bronze medals.

Shokhiddin Aliyev (up to 65 kg) and Jahongir Tulkunov (up to 55 kg) each earned silver medals.
