Uzbekistan’s chess players achieve success at the Asian Championships
At the Asian Individual Chess Championships 2026 in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, Afruza Khamdamova, a member of the Uzbekistan national team, took second place with 7.5 points.
As a result, she advanced to 26th place in the women’s world ranking.
Another player from Uzbekistan, Nilufarkhon Imomquziyeva, scored 6 points and finished 9th. She has successfully met the WGM norms.
