Uzbekistan to become partner country of IFTM Top Resa 2026
Uzbekistan will participate as the Country of Honour at the IFTM Top Resa, to be held in Paris on September 15-17.
A press conference titled “The Value of Travel! Exploring Its Driving Forces Together” was held at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in France.
The event was attended by representatives of leading international media outlets and companies, the Embassy, the leadership of the Tourism Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and the organizers of IFTM. Uzbekistan’s tourism potential was highlighted, particularly its status as a rapidly developing tourist destination in Central Asia.
In 2025, Uzbekistan welcomed 29.6 thousand tourists from France. In the first five months of this year, the number rose to about 15 thousand visitors, a 1.3-fold increase.
Participation in IFTM Top Resa 2026 will enable Uzbekistan to showcase not only the cities of the Great Silk Road but also the country’s modern infrastructure, new tourism products, and international tourism projects. Destinations that reflect economic and regional values, human capital, and sustainable development will be presented. The number of visitors is expected to increase by 10-15 percent this year.
