Uzbekistan showcases its national cuisine and cultural heritage at VIG 2026 in Paris
Uzbekistan is taking part in the Village International de la Gastronomie (VIG 2026), held in Paris from September 10 to 13. This year’s event has gathered delegates from over 80 countries and regions worldwide.
Uzbekistan’s national stand highlights the country’s culinary traditions, decorative arts, and rich handicrafts. It introduces international visitors to the unique aspects of Uzbek cuisine, hospitality customs, and cultural elements that express the nation’s distinctive identity.
Since 2016, the VIG has taken place in Paris and has grown over the last decade into an international platform fostering cultural dialogue through gastronomy. The event is organized under the High Patronage of the President of France Emmanuel Macron.

In 2025, the festival drew over 50,000 visitors. For this milestone edition, organizers anticipate even higher turnout. This year, a new “Savoir-Faire” section debuts, highlighting traditional knowledge, skills, and crafts from around the world.
The anniversary festival offers new opportunities to strengthen Uzbekistan’s tourism and cultural relations with France and other participating countries.
