Uzbekistan has supplied electrical engineering products to Syria
Uzbekistan’s electrical engineering export geography is growing.
The initial shipment of household appliances manufactured by local companies has arrived in Aleppo, Syria. This marks an important milestone in increasing the visibility of Made in Uzbekistan products in the Middle Eastern market.
Electrical products such as air conditioners, refrigerators, and washing machines produced in Uzbekistan were transported to Syria in two trucks, with a total value of $90,000.
The cargo arrived in 20 days using an alternative transit route that went through Turkmenistan, Iran, Azerbaijan, and Türkiye.
In June this year, Syria’s Kalash Trading signed a $5 million export contract with the local household appliances manufacturer Premier Electronics.
Providing products under this agreement helps strengthen trade and economic ties between the two countries.
