Uzbekistan and Serbia establish strategic partnership
Following the talks in Belgrade, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić signed a Joint Declaration on the Establishment of the Strategic Partnership.
In the presence of the two leaders, a ceremony was also held to exchange bilateral documents, including:
– on mobility and labor migration;
– on international road transport of passengers and goods;
– on interregional cooperation;
– on cooperation in agriculture, water management, and sustainable rural development;
– on cooperation and mutual assistance in customs matters;
– on the establishment of a working group to begin negotiations on a Free Trade Agreement;
– on cooperation in renewable energy and green technologies;
– on cooperation in pharmaceuticals and biotechnology;
– on cooperation in tourism and cultural travel;
– on cooperation in support of the Middle Corridor;
– on cooperation in railway infrastructure;
– on cooperation in economic diplomacy;
– on cooperation in cinematography and co-production;
– on cooperation in culture for 2026-2028;
– on cooperation in occupational safety and health;
– on cooperation in protecting persons with disabilities and supporting their position in society;
– on cooperation in information and communication technologies;
– on cooperation in digitalization, e-government, and the application of modern technologies;
– on cooperation in environmental protection;
– on establishing partnership between Samarkand region and the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina.
