Uzbekistan and Pakistan strengthen tourism cooperation
A delegation of representatives from Pakistan’s tourism industry is continuing its visit to Uzbekistan, organized by the Tourism Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The visit aims to expand tourism exchanges between the two countries and to develop direct partnerships between tour operators.
The key event of the first day of the program was a major B2B meeting on May 8, attended by 24 leading tour operators from Pakistan and about 50 representatives of tourism companies from Uzbekistan.
During the talks, the sides discussed the current state of cooperation in tourism, prospects for increasing tourist flows, and opportunities to launch new joint routes and programs.
Following the meeting, Uzbekistan and Pakistan’s tour operators agreed to develop new tour packages and to sign cooperation agreements.
As part of the visit, the Pakistani delegation will also visit several tourist cities in Uzbekistan, where meetings with representatives of the regional tourism industry and familiarization with the country’s tourism potential are planned.
