Uzbekistan and Oman strengthen collaboration

A delegation led by Nuriddin Ismoilov, Speaker of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, visited Oman.

During the visit, a meeting was held with Sheikh Abdulmalik bin Abdullah Al Khalili, the Chairman of the State Council of Oman.

The meeting focused on the current state of cooperation between the two countries’ parliaments and prospects for further expansion.

During the talks, Sheikh Abdulmalik bin Abdullah Al Khalili praised Uzbekistan’s open and effective foreign policy. He also emphasized that expanding interparliamentary cooperation would help strengthen bilateral relations.

The parties also highlighted the significant potential to expand cooperation in the economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
