Uzbekistan and Moldova discuss interparliamentary cooperation
An online meeting took place between the Uzbekistan – Moldova and Moldova – Uzbekistan interparliamentary cooperation groups.
The participants discussed interparliamentary cooperation and ways to strengthen existing relations. They highlighted the need to strengthen the work of cooperation groups, foster dialogue between parliamentary committees, and share experience in lawmaking and parliamentary oversight.

It was also emphasized that expanding trade and economic ties between the two countries and identifying new areas of cooperation are important. Attention was also paid to exchanging experience and developing cooperation in youth policy, education, support for women, gender equality, culture and the arts, sports, and tourism.
