Uzbekistan and Hong Kong strengthen strategic economic partnership
A roundtable discussion was held at the Uzbekistan Palace of International Forums, with the participation of representatives of the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, as well as the business community.
At the event, chaired by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Abdulla Aripov, and John Lee Ka-chiu, Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, it was noted that, as a result of agreements reached at the highest level between the leaders of the two countries, large-scale joint projects are underway in industry, energy, infrastructure, transportation, agriculture, and high technologies.
The parties exchanged views on prospects for expanding cooperation and implementing joint projects in areas such as finance and investment, innovation, digital technologies, mining, the agricultural sector, transportation and logistics, energy, and pharmaceuticals.
Following the event, a ceremony was held to exchange the signed documents.
