Uzbekistan and Belarus: investment cooperation enters a new, practical stage
The first panel session, titled “Uzbekistan and Belarus: industrial cooperation, joint investment and realizing labor potential”, was held in Khiva as part of the Fourth Business Forum of Women Entrepreneurs of Uzbekistan and Belarus.
The session brought together members of both countries’ parliaments, representatives of government agencies, business communities, and entrepreneurial associations, as well as active women entrepreneurs.
The discussions focused in particular on taking industrial cooperation between Uzbekistan and Belarus to a new level, expanding mutually beneficial investment projects, localizing production, establishing joint ventures, and developing new value chains.
The panel session also featured an in-depth discussion on improving mechanisms to attract investment, use existing production capacity efficiently, and fully realize labor potential.
Participants exchanged views on developing new cooperative projects between Uzbekistan and Belarusian entrepreneurs, expanding existing business ties, and supporting practical initiatives.
