Uzbekistan and Belarus enhance collaboration in agricultural research
The Minister of Agriculture of Uzbekistan Ibrokhim Abdurakhmonov met with Vladimir Karanik, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus and Chairman of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture, the talks focused on developing scientific cooperation in the agricultural sector, including plant breeding, seed production, and the introduction of modern agricultural technologies.
Particular attention was paid during the meeting to the activities of the Scientific and Practical Center for Arable Farming of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus in Zhodino.
Following the meeting, the parties reaffirmed their commitment to enhance cooperation focused on integrating science and practice in agriculture. They aim to exchange best practices and broaden the adoption of innovative technologies in the sector.
