Uzbekistan – a nation known for its tolerance
A photo exhibition titled “Uzbekistan – a country of tolerance” was launched as part of the Friendship Festival, which celebrates July 30 – International Day of Friendship.

The exhibition showcases photographs that highlight the diverse cultural heritage, customs, and traditions of different nations and ethnic groups, along with their active involvement in the country’s public life.

The event left a deep impact on the participants and stood out as a lively cultural showcase highlighting Uzbekistan as a peaceful, tolerant, and multicultural society.


It is important to note that, according to a resolution by the United Nations General Assembly, July 30 is celebrated globally as the International Day of Friendship. Consequently, from July 25 to 31 this year, the Committee on Interethnic Relations and Compatriots Abroad of Uzbekistan, in partnership with other organizations, is organizing the Friendship Festival.
