Uzbek representative honored in Georgia
A special event commemorating the 45th anniversary of the International Blind Sports Federation (IBSA) took place in Tbilisi, Georgia.
At the event, Mukhtorkhon Tashkhodjaev, Vice President of the Asian Paralympic Committee and the International Blind Sports Federation, and Chairman of the National Paralympic Committee of Uzbekistan, received the IBSA45 – Recognition of Long-standing Partners award.
The recognition symbolized the attention paid to developing para sports in Uzbekistan, the country’s long-standing cooperation with IBSA, the opportunities being created for blind and visually impaired athletes, and joint efforts to advance adaptive sports.
