Top Kurash athletes will compete for the prize from the President of Uzbekistan in Paris
An International Kurash Tournament for the President of Uzbekistan’s Prize begins in Paris today.
Before the competition, a press conference was held with Uygun Umarov, Deputy Chairman of the Uzbekistan Kurash Federation, Merampi Iliadis, President of the European Kurash Confederation, and representatives from the France Kurash Federation.
The competition will be held at the Centre Sportif Émile Anthoine. The organizers have also prepared a cultural program to strengthen international ties.
As noted at the press conference, about 100 top athletes from nearly 30 countries will compete for medals at the tournament, which offers a prize fund of 30,000 euros.
