The Timurid civilization is in the spotlight of the world community
The international scientific conference “The Role and Significance of Amir Temur and the Timurid Civilization in World History and Culture”, devoted to the 690th anniversary of Amir Temur’s birth, continues at the Center for Islamic Civilization.
Over 300 leading scientists, experts, diplomats, and the general public from more than 20 countries around the world are taking part in the event.
The event is organized by the Center for Islamic Civilization, the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in collaboration with the World Society for the Study, Preservation, and Popularization of the Cultural Legacy of Uzbekistan.
The participants are discussing key aspects of the Timurid era: public administration and diplomacy, military art and strategy, architecture and urban planning, and the development of science, education, and culture.
Special attention is paid to the influence of Amir Temur’s legacy on the formation of world civilization and on the development of politics and economics.
The conference marks a significant step toward strengthening international scientific dialogue and promoting Uzbekistan’s rich historical and cultural heritage on the world stage.
