The Imam Bukhari Complex is presented in Qatar

The Imam Bukhari Complex was presented in Doha on the initiative of Uzbekistan’s diplomatic mission.

Approximately 100 representatives from leading universities, research centers, religious groups, media outlets, and Qatar’s business community attended the event.

Detailed information outlined the core of this major spiritual enlightenment project, launched on President Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s initiative. It was highlighted that the idea to completely redesign the Imam Bukhari Complex was first proposed by the Head of State during the UN General Assembly. This initiative has received enthusiastic interest from the international community.

The event’s highlight focused on the rich scientific and spiritual heritage of Imam Bukhari, a renowned Muhaddith and scholar of the Islamic world.

Experts highly valued the scientist’s scientific legacy, emphasizing the significance of “Al-Jami as-Sahih”, regarded as the most dependable hadith collection after the Holy Quran.

Special videos about the Imam Bukhari Complex were also presented to the participants. It was emphasized that within a short period, over a million local and international visitors came to the shrine. This highlights the transformation of the complex into a significant spiritual and cultural hub not just for Uzbekistan but for the entire Islamic world.

Following the event, representatives from Qatar’s scientific and public communities expressed their interest in visiting the Imam Bukhari Complex. They discussed key aspects of expanding cultural and humanitarian cooperation.
