The Day of Remembrance and Honor is widely celebrated in Jizzakh
A solemn event, timed for May 9 – the Day of Remembrance and Honor – took place in Jizzakh.
It was attended by representatives of state and public organizations, labor veterans, elders, military personnel, and the general public.
The participants, led by the regional Hokim, Ulugbek Mustafoyev, laid flowers at the monument to the Grieving Mother and honored the memory of compatriots who died in the Second World War and of the heroes who gave their lives for the peace and tranquility of the Motherland.
During the event, a warm and sincere conversation took place with labor veterans and representatives of the older generation. It was noted that their lives and work are a bright example of courage and dedication for young people.
Such events contribute to the upbringing of young people in the spirit of patriotism, strengthening historical memory and respect for national values.
