The Central Physicochemical Laboratory's division has commenced operations

At the Northern Mining Directorate of the Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Combine, the Central Physicochemical Laboratory analyzes geological samples to determine the precious metal content in the ore.

Currently, there is a growing need to analyze geological samples of complex-to-process ores being extracted from the "Kokpatas" and "Turbay" mines. To address this need, a division of the Central Physicochemical Laboratory has commenced operations within the territory of the "Sharqiy" mine.

"A physicochemical analysis determines the presence of precious metals like gold and silver in a geological sample," says Alisher Botirov, Head of the Central Physicochemical Laboratory. "Our laboratory division provides the capability to conduct rapid analyses and assess raw material quality. This unit has the capacity to analyze over 300 geological samples per day in a short timeframe. The launch of this laboratory division has created approximately 30 jobs."

The building for this division was reconstructed by the Northern Mining Administration and outfitted with the necessary equipment. This facility is crucial for the rapid, accurate, and reliable analysis of samples extracted from the earth's subsurface.
