Tashkent to host International Tourism Fair
On November 25-27, the 31st Tashkent International Tourism Fair “Tourism on the Silk Road” will take place at the CAEx Uzbekistan Central Asian Exhibition Center in Tashkent. It is a key event in the region’s tourism industry.
Since 1994-1995, the fair has been held annually and has benefited from the official support of the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) for over thirty years, boosting its international standing. Over time, TITF has become the region’s premier business platform, attracting tour operators, government representatives, international organizations, and industry companies to find partners, introduce new routes, and negotiate contracts.
Previous years’ figures clearly demonstrate the event’s scale. For instance, one fair saw over 15,000 business negotiations and more than 9,000 cooperation agreements signed. In 2022, the exhibition drew over 11,000 visitors and about 300 companies, resulting in about 7,000 contracts.
Following an April 2026 tender, Iteca Exhibitions secured the contract to organize the 31st fair. As one of Uzbekistan’s top exhibition and business event organizers, it celebrated its 30th anniversary the previous year. Its portfolio includes 22 annual international exhibitions and five major forums focused on critical economic sectors, including textiles, oil and gas, and energy. Organizing TITF 2026 is seen as an important step toward strengthening Uzbekistan’s position on the global tourism map and promoting the country as a competitive, dynamically developing travel destination.

The organizers highlight that Uzbekistan is quickly becoming a major hub for tourism, transportation, and logistics in the region. Due to widespread reforms, an open policy approach, and modern infrastructure development, the country is growing more appealing to leading market participants, investors, and international travelers.
TITF 2026 will bring together representatives from the tourism industry, government bodies, international entities, and the business sector, offering distinctive opportunities to network, share experiences, and showcase products and services. As in previous years, the fair will include a comprehensive business program with forums and panel discussions featuring top industry specialists, presentations highlighting Uzbekistan’s regional tourism potential, B2B meetings, negotiations between tour operators and service providers, and exhibitions of handicrafts alongside culinary showcases of national cuisine.
The 31st fair, scheduled for this November, is expected to bring together participants from multiple countries and further solidify Tashkent’s status as a major tourism hub along the Silk Road.
