Tashkent hosts the 7th WCO Global Canine Forum

The 7th Global Canine Forum of the World Customs Organization has begun in Tashkent.

The event is attended by WCO Secretary General Ian Saunders, Chairman of the Customs Committee of Uzbekistan Akmalkhuja Mavlonov, representatives from customs services of over 50 WCO member states, and experts from over 15 international organizations.

The three-day forum will address current challenges in border and customs security, as well as training guard dogs and developing canine services.

Participants will focus on new technologies, innovative methods for dog training, breeding, and veterinary care, and the implementation of international standards.
