Street in Belgrade to be named after Tashkent

The official visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Serbia continued with a ceremony naming one of Belgrade’s streets after Tashkent.

The leaders emphasized that this decision reflects the dynamic development of multifaceted relations between Uzbekistan and Serbia, which have today been elevated to a strategic partnership.

It was noted that Tashkent Street will become a visible symbol of the two countries’ firm commitment to strengthen friendship and mutual understanding between the people of the two countries.
