RAS Representative Office to open in Uzbekistan

A representative office of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS) will open at Russia’s Trade Representation in Uzbekistan. TASS reported this, citing the Trade Representation’s Press Service, following a meeting between Konstantin Zlygostev, Russia’s Trade Representative in Uzbekistan, and Academician Vladislav Panchenko, RAS Vice-President.

The Russian Academy of Sciences has decided to open representative offices in eight countries: Belarus, Brazil, Vietnam, India, China, Mongolia, Uzbekistan, and Ethiopia.

According to the Trade Representation, this will create an effective mechanism to deepen scientific and expert partnerships and joint research.
