Prospects of cooperation in higher education under discussion

Kongratbay Sharipov, the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, met with Alexey Yerkhov, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The parties discussed enhancing collaboration in higher education, acknowledging the presence of a robust regulatory framework and ongoing development of partnerships.

Special attention was given to academic mobility and to the growing interest among Uzbekistan’s youth in studying at Russian universities.

During the meeting, measures were discussed to improve the quality of education, adapt joint programs to labor market needs, and enhance the activities of Russian universities’ branches.
