Prospects for strengthening relations between Uzbekistan and Germany discussed

A delegation from the Federal Republic of Germany, led by Minister of State for Europe Gunther Krichbaum, visited the Senate of the Oliy Majlis.

During the meeting with First Deputy Chairman of the Senate Sodiq Safoyev, the strong relations between Uzbekistan and Germany, rooted in mutual trust and strategic partnership, were highlighted.

The importance of active high-level political dialogue as a crucial element in ensuring the sustainable development of bilateral cooperation was emphasized.

Prospects for strengthening interparliamentary cooperation were discussed, including increasing ties among relevant committees and cooperation groups, and organizing reciprocal visits.

Views were exchanged on the development of trade, economic, and investment ties, as well as partnerships in the fields of education, culture, and healthcare.

Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to develop mutually beneficial cooperation between Uzbekistan and Germany.
