Prospects for cooperation between UzLiDeP and the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party discussed

As previously reported, representatives of Uzbekistan’s political parties are taking part in the 13th General Assembly of the International Conference of Asian Political Parties (ICAPP) in Seoul.

On the sidelines of the Assembly, Aktam Khaitov, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Political Council of the Movement of Entrepreneurs and Businesspeople – the Liberal Democratic Party of Uzbekistan (UzLiDeP), met with Valaxay Lengsavad, Vice Chairman of the Committee for External Relations of the Central Committee of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party and a member of the ICAPP Standing Committee.

The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation between the two parties, developing inter-party dialogue and exchanging experience. In particular, the sides discussed opportunities for cooperation in party activities and engagement with parliamentarians, young people and women.

The participants emphasized the importance of maintaining regular dialogue on international platforms, supporting initiatives of mutual interest, learning from best practices and developing practical cooperation.
