Prime Minister of India receives a high state honor of Uzbekistan
A ceremony was held at the Kuksaroy Residence to present the Oliy Darajali Do‘stlik (Highest Degree of Friendship) Order of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Prime Minister of the Republic of India Narendra Modi.
It was noted that India’s rapid development in recent years and its growing standing on the international stage are directly linked to the effective leadership of the country’s Prime Minister. Through successful programs and strategies, modern India is achieving outstanding results across all spheres.

Presenting the high state award, the Head of State noted that the decision reflects the profound respect of the state and people of Uzbekistan for the invaluable contribution of the Prime Minister of India to strengthening the centuries-old friendship between the two peoples.

As a result of the historic visit and the fruitful talks held, an agreement was reached to elevate relations between the friendly countries to a comprehensive strategic partnership.


It was noted with satisfaction that, thanks to joint efforts, relations in the political and diplomatic, trade and economic, investment, transportation, cultural, and humanitarian spheres have reached a qualitatively new level.


Confidence was expressed that the award will contribute to the development of mutually beneficial cooperation between the peoples of Uzbekistan and India.


“I am convinced that, through our shared aspirations and collaborative efforts, our diverse and long-term relations will continue to grow actively”, the President of Uzbekistan noted.
