President of Uzbekistan congratulates President of Russia on successful State Duma Elections

On September 21, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a telephone conversation with the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.

The President of Uzbekistan sincerely congratulated the President of Russia on the successful elections to the State Duma and wished the newly elected parliament fruitful work.

During the conversation, the issues of deepening the strategic partnership and alliance between Uzbekistan and Russia in the context of implementing the agreements reached at the highest level were considered.

The importance of successfully holding the upcoming meetings of the Intergovernmental Commission and the Council of Regions, as well as the Days of Culture of Uzbekistan in Russia, was emphasized.
