President of Azerbaijan honors the memory of our ancestors
At the invitation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev is paying a state visit to Uzbekistan.
On August 23, the distinguished guest and his spouse, accompanied by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov, visited New Uzbekistan Park and laid flowers at the Independence Monument.
The Independence Monument, located at the heart of New Uzbekistan Park, symbolizes our nation’s long history, the essence of freedom and innovation, and features images of our great ancestors who dedicated their lives to science and enlightenment. Their noble achievements, contributions to human civilization, and rich spiritual legacy are esteemed not only by our people but also by the global community.
President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev laid flowers and bowed his head in tribute before the majestic complex, a powerful symbol of Uzbekistan’s independence and the well-being of its people.
