Partnership with China advances into a new phase
The Hokim of Tashkent region Zoyir Mirzayev met with executives of major Chinese companies and representatives of the business community.
Executives of YEMA GROUP, Sichuan Hebang Investment Group, China Feihe Limited, Zhejiang ZHINK Group, Beijing Century Beking Furniture, and Inner Mongolia Wantong Road and Bridge Group attended the meeting.
The parties discussed the investment opportunities in Tashkent region, including industry and manufacturing development, natural resources, transport and logistics infrastructure, and the benefits of the region’s large consumer market.

Tashkent region is significant to the country’s economy, with rapid growth in industry, agriculture, services, and logistics. Its closeness to the capital, strategic position at transport hubs, skilled workforce, and large consumer base provide advantageous conditions for foreign investors.
Chinese entrepreneurs showed great interest in Tashkent region’s investment opportunities and highly rated the potential for launching business projects, setting up new production facilities, and building long-term partnerships.

During the discussions, emphasis was placed on enhancing cooperation in areas such as mineral resource development, industrial manufacturing, food and dairy cultivation and processing, as well as the textile and furniture sectors. Additionally, infrastructure projects and agricultural initiatives were discussed. The talks also explored ideas for creating high-value-added products and boosting exports of goods aimed at international markets.
Participants received detailed information about the conditions for foreign investors in Tashkent region, including existing industrial zones and regional infrastructure capabilities.
Following the meeting, the parties committed to ongoing collaboration in promising areas, systematically strengthening their partnership, carefully reviewing the proposed projects, and defining specific steps for their execution.
