OSCE ODIHR Director positively assesses reforms underway in Uzbekistan
In Warsaw, members of the Uzbekistan delegation led by Feruza Eshmatova, Authorized Person of the Oliy Majlis for Human Rights (Ombudsman), met with Maria Telalian, Director of the Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE).
During the dialogue, the parties discussed the activities of the Ombudsman institution and the ongoing efforts to protect citizens’ rights and legitimate interests.
The parties exchanged views on the reforms being implemented in Uzbekistan to ensure human rights and the positive results achieved.

Maria Telalian positively assessed the reforms underway in Uzbekistan and the results achieved. Readiness was expressed to exchange experience in the field of human rights protection, further develop cooperation, and implement joint initiatives.
