Nine artworks from Uzbekistan showcased in Saint Petersburg
The exhibition “Konstantin and Vladimir Makovsky. Heavenly Love and Earthly Love” has concluded at the Fabergé Museum in Saint Petersburg.
The large-scale exhibition, organized for art enthusiasts, drew 210,717 visitors.
The exhibition showcased works by renowned Russian artists Vladimir and Konstantin Makovsky, alongside rare pieces from various museum collections. It emphasized the artistic value, historical importance, and meticulous preservation of the artworks. The exhibition also included works from the State Museum of Arts of Uzbekistan, with eight undergoing special restoration for the event. Displaying these masterpieces internationally represented a significant move in promoting Uzbekistan’s cultural heritage globally.
The Uzbekistan Art and Culture Development Foundation expressed its sincere gratitude to Fabergé Museum Director Vladimir Voronchenko, philanthropist Viktor Vekselberg, and all partners and specialists for their substantial contributions to organizing and successfully executing the exhibition.
