“Nationwide unity is the driving force behind the development of New Uzbekistan!”
An international scientific and practical conference dedicated to Friendship Day took place at the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan, as part of the Friendship Festival.
The event was attended by representatives of the diplomatic corps, international organizations, Uzbek communities, compatriots abroad, as well as state and public officials, cultural centers, and media outlets.
Advisor to the President Khayriddin Sultanov read out a congratulatory message from Head of State Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the people of Uzbekistan.
The State Anthem of the Republic of Uzbekistan was performed, followed by a documentary film highlighting the importance of strengthening harmony and solidarity among the nation’s peoples. The film also emphasized the role of the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan in this process.
During the conference, participants explored the growth of people’s diplomacy, strengthening connections with compatriots abroad, and collaboration among government agencies, civil society, and cultural institutions. They presented reports on the legal basis for nationwide unity in New Uzbekistan and highlighted the role of people’s diplomacy in enhancing the country’s international reputation.
Following the meeting, participants formulated practical proposals and recommendations based on the discussed issues.
