MP meets with youth
During an open dialogue with youth at Technical School No. 1 in Yangiyer, existing problems, proposals, and initiatives were addressed. The event, led by Gavhar Olimova, a deputy of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, was held as part of the "Together with the People" national program, with a focus on finding solutions to the issues raised.
During the dialogue, views were exchanged on the advantages of dual education, the development of practical skills alongside acquiring a profession, training personnel to meet employer demands, and providing young people with decent job opportunities.
It was noted that to date, 17 young people from the technical college have received German language certificates and have begun legal employment in Germany. This is a practical result of the opportunities created for young people, which, in addition to providing vocational training, include teaching foreign languages and enabling their entry into the international labor market.
In cooperation with the regional department of the Migration Agency, German language courses have been organized at the technical college. These courses help young people improve their foreign language knowledge and skills, as well as undergo the necessary preparation to begin legal employment abroad.
The educational institution currently trains mid-level specialists in the fields of "Metalworking," "Furniture Design," and "Fashion and Garment Production Technology." These specializations create broad opportunities for young people to master professions that are in high demand in the labor market.
To connect the educational process with practical experience, the technical college has established partnerships with the city's "ECO VOD" furniture factory and the large "Elegant" garment factory. Through this system, organized as a dual education model, students combine their theoretical knowledge with hands-on training at these enterprises, gaining experience in their chosen profession.
During the open dialogue, Deputy Gavhar Olimova emphasized that young people's education, acquisition of a profession, and future attainment of decent jobs are directly linked to the country's development. The importance of supporting youth, encouraging their initiatives, making effective use of available opportunities, and finding practical solutions to emerging problems was also highlighted.
"Today's meeting was very meaningful for us, the youth. I am particularly impressed by the opportunities created at our technical college for mastering modern professions, especially the dual education system. We have the chance to work while we study and gain practical experience in our field. In the future, I aim to use the knowledge and skills I have acquired to become a good specialist and contribute to our country's development," said Nigora Muminova, a student at the technical college.
At the end of the meeting, the proposals and feedback from the young people were heard. Based on the opinions expressed, relevant issues were discussed concerning their training in modern professions, improving their practical skills, ensuring their employment, and supporting their initiatives.
