Mordovia’s business delegation visits Uzbekistan to explore new projects and establish business agreements
Tashkent now serves as a hub for strengthening business ties between Uzbekistan and the Republic of Mordovia. An official delegation from the republic, led by regional head Artyom Zdunov, has arrived in the city.
Representatives from major industrial and agro-industrial companies in Mordovia are participating in the business forum, where several contracts and agreements are anticipated to be signed.
The Head of Mordovia noted that this year the republic once again ranked among the TOP 10 leaders in Russia’s National Investment Climate Ranking. The republic has created favorable conditions for doing business, including a special economic zone, tax incentives, and administrative support for investors.
“We are ready to provide comprehensive support to Uzbek companies interested in implementing joint projects in Mordovia”, said Artyom Zdunov.
He also expressed gratitude to the Uzbek partners for their warm welcome, keen interest in the region, and willingness to engage in constructive dialogue.
As part of the business program, Mordovian enterprise representatives met with Uzbek companies for bilateral negotiations and B2B meetings. They focused on exploring supply and procurement opportunities, finding new business partners, and developing joint projects.
The agreements made are anticipated to lay the groundwork for boosting trade and economic relations between Uzbekistan and Mordovia, as well as launching new joint initiatives.
