Madrid hosts an international conference dedicated to the legacy of Amir Temur
An article about an international conference in Madrid marking the 690th anniversary of the birth of the great statesman and commander Amir Temur was published in “El Mundo Financiero”, one of Spain’s leading publications.
According to the publication, the conference, held at the Casa Árabe cultural center in Madrid, drew scholars, diplomats and public figures from Uzbekistan, Spain, and several other countries.

The event featured a comprehensive discussion of Amir Temur’s enormous contributions to statehood, military art, and the development of world civilization.
Uzbekistan’s Ambassador to Spain Farrukh Tursunov, Presidential Advisor Khayriddin Sultonov, Director of the Islamic Civilization Center Firdavs Abdukhalikov, Director of the State Museum of the Temurids History Khurshid Fayziyev, Spanish writer Jesús Sánchez Adalid and other prominent experts delivered speeches at the conference.

More than 70 scholars, researchers, and diplomats from Asia, Europe, and Latin America took part in the forum.
