Issues related to adapting Uzbekistan’s education system to global standards discussed in London
Deputy Director of Uzbekistan’s National Quality Assurance Agency for Education Sardor Rakhimboyev took part in the international forum “Deep Dialogues – Business as unusual: leadership in international education transformation”, held in London.
The forum was organized jointly with the British Council, Advance HE, and Universities UK International. The event was attended by leaders and representatives from higher education, government agencies, international experts, university rectors, and education quality assurance organizations from 22 countries.
During the forum, participants discussed issues related to effectively managing transformation processes in educational institutions, expanding access to education while maintaining quality and international standards, integrating digital technologies and artificial intelligence into the educational process, developing transnational education and international academic mobility, and ensuring financial sustainability and diversifying university activities. Particular attention was paid to international experience in inclusive education and in ensuring gender equality.
As part of the visit, the Uzbekistan representative held bilateral meetings with representatives from King’s College London, UCL, Regent’s University London, AMBA&BGA, the University of York, and SOAS University of London.
During the talks, the sides discussed developing the quality assurance system for education in Uzbekistan in line with international standards, involving foreign experts in accreditation processes, expanding academic and institutional cooperation, and enhancing human resource capacity.
